About the Team
As a Regional Sales Director on our Net New team, you will use your extensive experience and domain expertise to lead, coach and mentor a team of Account Executives selling Workday Solutions to new logos in our Medium Enterprise team. If you want to be part of something exciting, please read on!
About the Role
  • As a Regional Sales Director, you will lead a team of passionate, enthusiastic and a successful people who want to be part of one of the most disruptive cloud companies on the planet.
  • This role will be responsible for leading GTM strategies, sales execution strategies, and ultimately forecasting the business.
  • As the leader of the Emerging Markets team, you will also be responsible for working with extended team leadership to further drive strategy and results.
  • You will be a key sales leader on the team focused on driving revenue into net new Medium Enterprise prospects.
  • Your team will manage sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams of pre-sales, value management, and other sales support.
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing on local marketing strategies in partnership with marketing support.
  • You will employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Workday as a viable cloud partner of choice to alternative to legacy ERP solutions.
About You
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area
  • Experience as a leader in a team selling environment.
  • Previous experience in sales leadership, ideally focused on new logo acquisition. Preferred experience in ERP or other financial business solutions or platform sales.
  • Ability to provide feedback, coach and develop team to constantly up-level performance.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday.
  • History of cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners and alliances.
  • Proven ability in managing sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
  • Proven experience of pulling together different business units to maximize on sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The base pay range for the primary location of this job is listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Base Pay Min to Max Range: $175,500 - $214,500
